Welcome, friends, to my blog. Though at the moment there is nothing here (besides this disclaimer), it will be a spot for ruminations on music, cosmology, art and ecology and other beauty that crosses my path.

- Welcome. Here is a little about who I am, where I come from and why I do this. I am currently enrolled in the Philosophy, Cosmology and Consciousness Phd program at California Institute of Integral Studies. My dissertation studies involve the evolution of consciousness as reflected through the lens of music. After teaching in a Montessori classroom for 14 years I began to realize that there was a larger world view that was being obfuscated by the daily roil and toil of managing a classroom. I am now finding that larger world view in my studies at CIIS. This blog is an attempt to share my thoughts, concerns, inspirations and ideas with a larger community than the loving, compassionate one I find myself in at CIIS.
